Product Manager
Managed Services, Product Manager Job Description: The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing in the Merchandising Organization. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision to deliver winning product solutions. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Managers job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the companys overall strategy and goals. The Product Manager is expected to: 1. Define the Managed services product strategy and roadmap 2. Interface with Subject Matter Experts to determine serviceability features 3. Determine and continually monitor correct service product cost structures 4. Clear understanding of customer vertical markets around public and private sector business 5. Define and Evaluate cost and pricing strategy to meet Direct and Contract market requirements and needs, while achieving Service Division revenue and profitability goals 6. Define and manage process from beginning to end for Service level agreements and Scope of works 7. Develop Sales Tools and collateral 8. Responsible for collecting, analyzing and evaluating data on existing service products and all competitive service products 9. Determine Strategies for promoting services through the Technology Channel 10. Maintain product knowledge and regularly monitors industry pricing practices 11. Be an expert with respect to the competition 12. Act as a leader within the company 13. Manage and Guide Product Manager Associate to obtain career growth Required experience and knowledge: This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience as well as a minimum of seven years related experience. Additional requirements include 1. Demonstrated success defining and launching solution offerings. 2. Experience in dealing with Managed services, Installation, Hardware Recycling, Remote monitoring. 3. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority 4. Must be able to maintain Sales and Customer confidence and protect operations by keeping costing/pricing information confidential 5. Willing and capable of facilitating change in an organization 6. Travel required 7. Excellent teamwork skills 8. Excellent PC skills with working on a proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio 9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 10.
